Oliver's Cider & Perry

Oliver’s Cider & Perry is crafted by Tom Oliver on his family farm in the village of Ocle Pychard, Herefordshire. Cider writer Pete Brown calls Oliver “simply the greatest cider maker in the world, a real artist”. Tom Oliver’s philosophy is to “take what the fruit gives”, respecting the great heritage and traditions of the past but with an eye to innovating for the future. His cider and perry is fermented by wild yeasts in small batches, using fresh pressed fruit with minimal intervention.

Tom Oliver is highly respected by other cider makers and a master at the challenging art of making fine perry. He regularly collaborates with other cider makers such as Ryan Burk of Angry Orchard and Greg Hall of Virtue Cider both from the US where Oliver enjoys “rock star” status. More than 1,000 people attended his talk on perry at the 2016 annual conference of the US Association of Cider Makers.
